Alli Brooks

About Me:

My name is Alli Brooks, and this is my 8th year as the librarian at JES. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from Freed Hardeman University in 2011 and received my Master’s Degree in Library Science from MTSU in 2018. Before becoming the librarian, I taught kindergarten for 2 years and 4th grade for 3 years at JES. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending quality time with my family and friends, engaging in any type of sports activity, cheering for the Crimson and White (Roll Tide), and growing in my relationship with the Lord. I feel so blessed to work at JES, as the librarian, where my primary goal is to instill a love of reading with each student. Reading opens up so many doors of opportunities. As Dr. Seuss states, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” I truly believe that and hope that my students will believe it too.
